Mr.Fred George Salvada Trail Principal, has made a call to Mrs. Mobley, he shared that he has a student that’s name is Napolen Dynamite that has been tested to be a genius he says that the student has been tested numerous times. Because of his genius status, Mr.George would like to have him move up to the high school early, keep in mind that ND is supposed to be a 6th grader. Mr.Fred George would like to have him start at RHHS immediately, so that “he doesn’t waste any time in middle school”. He feels that this move will help Napolen get into medical school earlier and be more prepared.

A survey was released yesterday by the Child Abuse Prevention Center in Baltimore, stating that three to four children die every day in the US from child abuse or neglect. Study shows that the number of child abuse cases rose to 2.7 million, from 2.6 million the previous year. More than half of the children who died were under the age of 1 and about 79% were under the age of 5.

Homeowner, Kathy Mahoney was awakened by smoke and flames, she suffered from minor burns on her hands and feet. Firefighters arrived at the scene at 3:30 a.m., and found the Los Gatos two bedroom home on 2300 block of Main Street on fire. The fire caused $76,000 in damages. Fire officials say the fire was started by a lighted cigarette on the sofa, they had the blaze under control in five minutes.
